Connect them to the Veterans Crisis Line: dial 988 then press 1, text 838255, or chat at VeteransCrisisLine.net, and follow your organization's emergency protocol and notify the supervising practitioner.

Coaching is not crisis or mental-health treatment. Every coach handout in the veteran module carries the crisis line.
