Can health coaching be delivered by telehealth?

Short answer

The codes have been on the Medicare Telehealth Services List since CY 2024, and CMS kept them on the CY 2027 list ("Maintain"). Confirm modality, place-of-service and modifier requirements with your MAC.

See rule p. 384 and the CY 2027 Final List of Medicare Telehealth Services. How telehealth interacts with general supervision of auxiliary personnel isn't addressed in the coaching section, so ask your billing team how they will report it.
