Can multiple units of 0593T be billed for a long group session?

Short answer

The final rule doesn't explicitly rule on it. Commenters asked for multiple units for longer sessions (p. 385), but CMS only finalized the CPT language and codes. Don't assume extra units; follow the CPT® descriptor and your MAC.

0593T is billed once per beneficiary in the group (rule p. 375).
