Did CMS replace 0591T–0593T with G-codes?

Short answer

No. CMS considered HCPCS G-codes and declined. It kept the Category III CPT codes and their prefatory language because they are recognized nationally (rule p. 386).

Watch for future rulemaking, since Category III codes are periodically reviewed by the AMA, but for CY 2027 the coaching codes remain 0591T, 0592T and 0593T.
