Short answer

January 1, 2027. CMS released the CY 2027 Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule (CMS-1848-F) on November 4, 2026, giving 0591T–0593T national payment (status A) for dates of service on or after January 1, 2027.

The Federal Register version of the rule is scheduled for publication on November 9, 2026. Before 2027 the codes were contractor priced, so payment depended on each Medicare Administrative Contractor. See what the 2027 final rule changed.
