Can dietitians or CHWs furnish health coaching?

Short answer

Commenters asked CMS to name RDs, CHWs, pharmacists, social workers and others. CMS did not add them by name, but the pathway list is non-exhaustive, so qualification turns on "appropriate certification" and the CPT training language.

Dietitians should also watch state scope-of-practice rules, since medical nutrition therapy is a separate service with its own requirements.
